Please read these terms carefully before using the BlissfulBeing platform. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
About BlissfulBeing
BlissfulBeing is an educational platform registered and operated in Gujarat, India. Our mission is to help children in rural and village communities learn and understand the English language through interactive exercises, vocabulary building, and structured learning content delivered via our mobile application.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing to our services, or allowing a child to use the Platform, you (the parent, guardian, or authorized representative) confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms in full.
- You are at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- You consent on behalf of the minor child who will use the Platform.
- You agree to comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including those of the State of Gujarat.
Eligibility
The BlissfulBeing Platform is designed for children, primarily in village and rural communities across India. Access is only permitted under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent.
User Accounts
Account Registration
To access the Platform, a parent or guardian must register an account on behalf of the child. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
- Notify us immediately at support@blissfulbeing.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Termination
BlissfulBeing reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in misuse of the Platform, or provides false registration information, without prior notice.
Subscription and Payments
Subscription Model
Access to BlissfulBeing's content, including word exercises, learning modules, and interactive activities, is available through a paid subscription. Plans and pricing are published on the Platform and may be updated from time to time.
Billing
- Subscription fees are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) in advance.
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways compliant with RBI guidelines.
- You authorize BlissfulBeing to charge the applicable subscription fee to your chosen payment method.
Refund Policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable. Please review your plan carefully before completing your purchase.
Use of the Platform
Permitted Use
- Access learning content, word exercises, and educational modules.
- Track the child's learning progress through the application.
- Use the Platform on permitted devices under your account.
Prohibited Conduct
- Share account credentials with others or allow unauthorized users to access the Platform.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the Platform without written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application or its underlying technology.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Upload or transmit any offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Circumvent any subscription or access control measures.
Intellectual Property
All content on the BlissfulBeing Platform — including text, exercises, illustrations, audio, graphics, logos, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of BlissfulBeing or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.
No part of the Platform may be reproduced, distributed, published, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from BlissfulBeing. Personal, non-commercial educational use by the registered child is permitted.
Privacy and Data Protection
BlissfulBeing is committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children. Our collection, use, and storage of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
- We collect only the minimum personal data necessary to provide our services.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable data protection rules under Indian law.
- Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data by contacting support@blissfulbeing.in.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. BlissfulBeing makes no warranty, express or implied, that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- The learning outcomes or educational results will meet specific expectations.
- All content will be completely accurate, complete, or up to date at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BlissfulBeing disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, BlissfulBeing, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any disruption of the child's educational progress.
BlissfulBeing's total aggregate liability to you, for any claim arising from your use of the Platform, shall be limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding three months.
Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate or link to third-party services, including payment gateways. BlissfulBeing is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes to the Platform and Terms
BlissfulBeing reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time, revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
